Family Tree Painting – a humorous family portrait
This 8″X10″ hand-painted family portrait is done in the style of a traditional family tree painting with a fun, humorous twist. However, unlike traditional genealogical tree art, the family members in this tree are not represented as simply the names on leaves. A few of them could be depicted as full body portraits* (painted from photos you provide). To make the painting truly unique, please also email the artist a brief description of each person, such as his/her personality traits, hobbies or whatever else you think describes that person best.
*Likeness to each family member is guaranteed or your money back.
Please read before purchasing:
Please note: the pricing in this listing is for 2 people + 2 pets + up to 12 more people represented as names on leaves. If you would like to include additional family members or pets please purchase these options separately from the listings below. However, due to the small size of the painting it is NOT recommended to add more than 3 additional family members, (meaning the total number of full body portraits should not be more than 5). If you prefer to have a painting with 6 or more individual portraits please take a look at the family trees in larger sizes.
Please note: depending on the artist’s schedule it takes anywhere from a few days to several weeks to complete the painting. If you need the artwork by a certain (rapidly approaching) date please consult with the artist first to make sure the painting could be competed by then.
Custom family tree painting options:
Option 1: In the painting’s foreground there is a full body portrait(s) of an individual or a couple painted seated at the base of the tree with their family members represented as either full body portraits, names on leaves on the tree, or a combination of both.
Option 2: Everyone in the family depicted as full body portraits is seated on the tree with the additional family members (optional) represented as names on leaves on the surrounding branches.
The painting could be done as either watercolor on paper or acrylic on canvas.
If you are not sure what option works best for you or if you have any additional questions please contact the artist first.
