Each Custom Family Tree Painting I create is a one-of-a-kind celebration of a one-of-a-kind family, crafted to mirror the unique spirit of the family it honors. I work closely with my clients, so I can blend their hobbies, family stories, and heritage into one spectacular work of art.
This multigenerational family tree, commissioned as a special gift for parents, radiates the warmth of a Hawaiian family’s legacy. A lush mango tree anchors the scene, set against a vibrant Hawaiian landscape of ocean, mountains and greenery. The couple, wearing colorful leis, took the center stage. I painted them sitting on the beach in folding chairs. I depicted Mom, a devoted gardener, cradling a flower pot, and added a few more pots with blooming flowers and a watering can next to her. I painted Dad, an avid fisherman, gripping a fishing rod, pulling a catch from the waves, his favorite hobby brought to life.
I depicted their four daughters and their spouses to reflect their hobbies, like cooking, baking, playing golf, etc. The grandchildren appeared in the painting as framed headshot portraits hanging on the tree’s branches, nestled near their parents. I inscribed the great-grandchildren’s names on the leaves, uniting generations. This mix-and-match style painting perfectly captured the family’s vibrant aloha spirit.
