For this special gift for his parents, my client requested a 60th anniversary gift showcasing his parents as full-body portraits beneath a vibrant family tree. Their children and grandchildren were included as framed headshot portraits hanging on the branches. The great-grandchildren were represented as names on leaves. For an extra nostalgic touch, I added a portrait of the couple from their wedding day, alongside a banner displaying the family name. To reflect their passions, I incorporated a sewing basket for the mother’s hobby and a toolbox for the father’s, bringing their personalities to life.
The color scheme makes this piece truly special. Inspired by a photo of the mother in a striking purple sweater, I wove rich purple hues into the portrait backgrounds, complemented by a lush green backdrop that evokes warmth and vitality.
